What is Cetislim?
Cetislim (Cetilistat) is used to promote weight loss by inhibiting the enzyme called pancreatic lipase. This enzyme is secreted by the pancreas and normally acts inside the intestine where it helps to breakdown fat and triglycerides. This results in a significantly reduced amount of free fatty acids and fats being absorbed into body, especially after fatty foods have been consumed.
Cetislim containing the active ingredient cetilistat is considered a lipase inhibitor type of medication. The medication works by blocking the metabolization of fat within food so you do not digest it and the undigested fat will be passed through the body in bowel movement. The capsules should be used along with a low calorie, low fat diet and a proper exercise program to treat obesity. Reducing calorie intake and weight maintenance can help prevent and treat conditions such as high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.
How is Cetislim used?
The medication can be taken with, during or even up to 1 hour after each main meal. If you skip a meal, do not take the medication. Swallow the capsules whole with a glass of water.
